Neil Young Fests 2010 in Europe
|
|
|
Dear Euro-Neil-fans and travelling Neil-fans,
The Euro-Highway Neil fans will be active again this year. We will have
a big Neil Young tribute open air festival in Germany on August 20 and
21, with 10 bands in Poessneck, Thuringa (former East Germany).
Neil tribute bands like "Eric Rust& The Never Sleeps" band (and playing
the weirdest Neil Young covers of all), "Change Partners", "Tino
Standhaft", "Schirneck", "Helpless" and "Bozz Rockband" (with over 4
years in the top 10 of Neils "Songs Of The Time") will play. Also the
legendary Monokel from former East Germany fame (Neil Young's support
band from the last year); and many more.
Go there, you'll get a feeling for what your elders fighted for...
Freedom of speech, no more Nazis, no more Iron Curtains, Music unites us
all.

Neil
Young and Quantum Mechanics:
The
Rumour-Meter actually
represents a quantum possibility: i.e. a choice of some states of the
Neil-Touring-in-Europe world state (actually the universe state); i.e.
Everett's III relative state.
This state is characterised by many
coordinates of some chosen Hilbert-sub-Space. We choose here only
some
potential realizers of the overall quantum state. Actually observing
this state vector here means realising some of the indicated
measurement outcomes ("Neil tours in Europe") with a certain
probability. Maybe it helps so that Neil Young will tour it.
That's more or less Quantum state realisation by state reduction
to physical
reality. Kinda a John Von Neuman Interpretation of Quantum mechanics.
Current state vector: Neil Young is touring in some of the parallel
Everett-worlds, i.e. also in your hometown =;)
Currently
the Rumour-meter covers Neil rumours worldwide. Maybe a
Hilbert sub-space for Europe might be detected. -- and it was detected.
Hence the Neil-Young-superposition collapsed according to some old
theory into reality: Neil is doing a summer tour in Europe! In parallel
universes, Neil Young is playing everywhere. As the state evolves
according to the Schrödinger equation, more than ever it raises
the question of the measurement problem. Maybe Neil will play also at

PLAYS NEW RECORD FOR REPRISE
NY Times, August 16, 2007
Continuing a tradition that goes back to 1969, Neil Young played his
latest recording for Reprise yesterday. The recording was played for
about 100 people in Burbank. Produced by "The Volume Dealers," NY and
Niko Bolas, the recording runs 60+ minutes and includes two giant songs
that time in at 18:30 and 13:00, respectively.
Drawing from three songs written previously, and 7
new
songs, the latest Neil Young is a very diverse recording. A release
date is unknown at this time. The title is Chrome Dreams II.
Chrome Dreams is a legendary NY album from 1977
that had
originally been scheduled for release but was shelved. The original
cover for Chrome Dreams was created by Neil's long-time producer and
friend, the late David Briggs. Unfortunately, all original
documentation and art for this album was lost in a fire that destroyed
Neil's Malibu home in early 1978.

Actually it turned out that the initially planned CSNY revival got
hijacked by Neil's new album and is now turned into a LWW tour. The
tour will play "Living With War" songs and some "Prairie Wind", and
other
stuff, for sure.
